Paralynx Engineering Inc. is an electrical engineering consulting firm that offers a full range of design services for commercial, industrial, and multi-family residential buildings, whether new-builds or TI developments (tenant improvement projects). We can also produce Electrical Planning Reports and EV-Ready Plans for BC Stratas. Based in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia, we service Western Canada in addition to the Okanagan region of BC. We've worked on projects from Vancouver and the lower mainland, to the Kootenays-Rockies region, to Calgary, Edmonton, and other parts of Alberta.
Every project is unique in its own way. We take an integrated approach and work closely with project teams that may include mechanical and structural engineering partners, clients, architects, general contractors, and others, to work towards your project goals. Successful buildings don't just happen during construction; they are designed well in advance, before the first shovel of dirt is turned. Good designs save both money and time.
Our designs are compliant with national and provincial codes. We offer a full range of construction and building design services right from the pre-construction phase and the tendering process, through to the final inspection and occupancy.

The safety of occupants is a vital part of building design. Life safety systems include the design of emergency lighting systems, fire alarm protection, and exit signage.
Electrical Planning Report
British Columbia recently passed legislation that requires stratas of 5 or more strata units to obtain an EPR. The EPR provides information on the strata's current electrical capacity, estimated peak usage, spare capacity, and an estimate on future needs. Get in touch to ensure your strata has an EPR in place before the 2026 or 2028 deadline (dependent on location).
